Connect a verified property and read aggregate organic search demand without turning Search Console data into conversion credit.
Google Search Console adds organic search clicks, impressions, queries, landing pages, devices, countries, and brand demand to nod. It is a read-only aggregate source. It does not identify a visitor, extend a customer journey, or create conversion credit.
tl;dr
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly scope.America/Los_Angeles).Open Settings -> Data sources, find Google Search Console, and click Connect. Complete the Google OAuth screen with an account that can access the required domain or URL-prefix property.
After OAuth, choose one verified property. Google reports the permission level for every available property. A property without usable property permission cannot be selected.
Only one Search Console property is active per workspace. Switching the property purges the previously synced Search Console aggregates before the new property starts syncing. This prevents rows from two sites from appearing in one report.
The initial sync publishes the recent 7 days first so Search Demand becomes useful without waiting for the full history. nod. then runs a progressive, resumable 90-day backfill. Ongoing syncs re-read the latest days because Google can finalize recent data later.
Search Console uses Pacific Time, exposed as America/Los_Angeles. This source timezone is kept in the report. It is not silently rebucketed into the shop timezone or UTC.
Open Attribution -> Search Demand. The view shows site totals, Brand, Non-brand and Unknown demand, a daily trend, and privacy-safe query, page, device, and country breakdowns.
Google does not return every query row. The site total remains authoritative, while query coverage shows how much of that total is visible in the query table. Suppressed, anonymized, privacy-filtered, or otherwise unavailable demand remains in Unknown. Unknown is not zero and is never redistributed into Brand or Non-brand.
Search Console data has no visitor, session, order, lead, or conversion identifier. It does not enter a journey, match a query to a conversion, or receive attribution credit. Brand Search growth can support a demand-generation hypothesis, but it does not prove which ad caused it.
If Google access expires, the scope is revoked, or the account loses access to the selected property, the card shows that attention is required. A workspace Admin must click Reconnect and grant the same read-only scope again. Reconnecting does not change the selected property unless the Admin explicitly switches it.
Disconnecting revokes the connection where Google permits it and removes the workspace's stored Search Console aggregates.
